Please note that all sales, made through this site or by phone/fax services are subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, to the exclusion of all other terms.
Your use of this site constitutes your acceptance of this Agreement.
The Gift Registry reserves the right to amend this Agreement from time to time. All such amendments will take effect immediately on posting of the amended Agreement on the www.thegiftregistry.co.za
To make purchases on this site you must be the holder of a valid credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club International and American Express.
Alternatively you can make purchases over the telephone or by fax, whereby we will process the sale on your behalf.
By using this site you agree not to damage, infect, or interfere with any information on site in any way, and you shall be liable for any damage attributed to you.
If it is determined that you are not complying with this user agreement, The Gift Registry may suspend www.thegiftregistry.co.za or any portion thereof.
Any indulgence of extension of time granted by us to you shall not be construed as a waiver or variation of any of our rights or remedies.
At the option of The Gift Registry, any dispute arising out of the Agreement may be brought in any Magistrates' Court of competent jurisdiction notwithstanding that the amount in issue may exceed the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa

Confidentiality & Security Policies

All your information is secure on a secured server and is treated as strictly confidential.
www.thegiftregistry.co.za protects your credit card details and other personal information, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, while it travels over the Internet.
The Gift Registry will not pass on any of your personal information, including your name & e-mail address to any third party. The Gift Registry does however reserve the right to use this information to track usage and demographic trends for its own purposes.
www.thegiftregistry.co.za does use “cookies”, to save small amounts of your information, to make the site easier to you for use on your return visits. This information cannot however be read or accessed from your hard drive in any way.

Payment & Confirmation Policy

The Gift Registry shall be authorized to debit the aggregate amount payable for the goods ordered against the authorized payment card supplied by you when completing the order supplied by you.
For security reason your credit card number and other personal details will not be saved or stored, therefore you must supply your payment card number and details each time you make a purchase on www.thegiftregistry.co.za.
When ordering by phone or fax, we will need your payment card details at the time of purchasing.
When you make your purchase and supply us with payment card details, you warrant that you are authorized to make payment with the card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for your purchase.
In the unlikely event, that your chosen purchase is unavailable, we will contact you and give you the option to either select another item or cancel your purchase and reverse the transaction.
All purchases make on www.thegiftregistry.co.za or by phone/fax are subject to this agreement.
Your offer will be deemed to have been accepted upon receipt and acceptance of your purchase by The Gift Registry unless otherwise notified. Failure to formally confirm or notify acceptance shall not effect the enforceability of the transaction

Delivery Policy

All purchases are subject to delivery as per the bridal couple’s instruction, unless other arrangements have been made.
The Gift Registry will deliver the gifts to the bridal couple along with a detailed list of who gave them what gift.
All our goods are unconditionally guaranteed against damages or breakage during delivery.
The risk will be passed onto the bridal couple or the person they appoint to receive their gifts, once the goods have been delivered to the specified delivery address.

Rights & Obligations

All material, data, logos and graphics, excluding logos and trademarks owned by suppliers which appear on www.thegiftregistry.co.za, remain the sole property of The Gift Registry.
As a user of the site, with the sole purpose of making a purchase you may view, electronically copy and print elements from www.thegiftregistry.co.za. You may not use this information for any other purpose.
All intellectual property which belongs to The Gift Registry cannot be reproduced or used for any purpose other than for the purpose of making a purchase from this site. The user cannot seek to benefit from this intellectual property in any other way except with the prior written consent from The Gift Registry. Failure to obtain such consent would constitute unlawful infringement of the intellectual property rights of The Gift Registry.

Indemnities

The Gift Registry makes no warranty regarding the contents and/or security of the site. The Gift Registry makes no warranty regarding the quality of the gifts and/ or its services.
The Gift Registry makes no warranty that the functions provided by www.thegiftregistry.co.za will be uninterrupted or error free, or that www.thegiftregistry.co.za or the server that hosts it is free from viruses or other harmful components.
Save as expressly set out herein, The Gift Registry shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you, including without limitation, as a result of or in connection with The Gift Registry' negligent (including grossly negligent) acts or omissions or those of its employees, agents or designees or other persons for whom in law it may be liable (in whose favour this constitutes a contract or undertaking for their benefit), for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage of any kind whatsoever or howsoever caused (whether arising under contract, delict or otherwise and whether the loss was actually foreseen or reasonably foreseeable), sustained by you, the recipient of the goods, or any other person arising from or as a result of any sale concluded in terms of this Agreement, the delivery, non-delivery, incorrect, erroneous or late delivery, the use, possession or consumption of the goods.
The Gift Registry, its members, employers, designees, agents, representatives, affiliates and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential) or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to the use of or reliance upon www.thegiftregistry.co.za (including any information contained thereon) or the Internet.
You will indemnify us and keep us fully indemnified from and against any loss or damage suffered or liability incurred, including without limitation in respect of any claim or demand by any third party by reason of any act or omission on your part or that of any family member, agent or representative
